Time to digest the past weekend's activities in Palm Springs:

Going up:

3rd Place - Dita Von Teese, signature retro look complete with what looks like a sailor's hat, surprising contender.



2nd Place - Alexa Chung, predictable yes but the Asian in me is cheering for her half Asian it-ness and nonchalant attitude.



Winner - Diane Kruger, let me tell you, little Pacey has hit the JACKPOT.



Going Down:

Firstly, there was a suprising dud in the mix, which was quite shocking considering I do sometimes ask 'what would she do' when dressing myself in the mornings. What happened kate? Didn't anyone tell you it's a bad idea to wear white to a festival? That said, you do have A-Skar as an accessory so right now I have placed you in neutral grounds.




3rd Place - Vanessa Hudgens, tell us, who teleported you back into 1995?



2nd Place- Lindsay Lohan, (or is it just Lindsay these days?) Looking rather bug eyed and sun burnt. Wonder if her parol officer knows her whereabouts. If they didn't, they do now!! Is that white powder i see on your top?



1st Place - Paris, ah i think young (30 is the new 20) Paris has a plan. She can't be THAT bad at dressing herself and if she was, she can afford to pay someone to dress her well. I think since she knows she is on her way out to be a no body, dressing badly is the only guarantee she is still (bad) news - i am talking about her aren't I?



Your eyes may be burning after looking at the last picture but i shall do a post of the actual best dressed Coachella attendees tomorrow.

you are my sunshine...

I wish I was my friend Maya, her dad named his honey after her.

I never blog about food because food is not important to me. HOWEVER there is a slight obsession / sicko relationship between me and a jar of dang good honey. There is something so indulgent about pulling a slab of honeycomb straight from a bee hive a la Bear Grylls (I've only ever experienced this once, but I did not pull that particular piece of honeycomb) and have it dribble down your hand while you hungrily licking it off before it gets stuck on all your clothes.

So, instead of getting all Man vs Wild, a few disfiguring bee stings and/or death, my friends super cute dad has been a busy bee (no pun i swear) and has bottled these little sticky bits of delightful sunshine into jars so everyone can have some fresh honey straight from these working bee's hives.
