Here's our girl Sarah writing from the Elie Saab Couture Show!

"Elie Saab… you saucy flirt

We all remember it. Halle Berry circa 2002… staring in fascination at that body – how was she not falling out?! - in that dress.

Elie Saab became a household name that day and his talent for producing glamorous and down right sexy red carpet wonders is as evident now in his 2011 Spring Summer Couture show in Paris as it was nearly a decade ago.

The collection was a series of gowns in organza, chiffon and lace that cut hourglass figures on svelte models with grosgrain ribbon. Hair was pulled gracefully and wispily back and make up was soft and natural. A glorious amount of floral embroidery and sparkle resulted in fairytale nymph-like models looking as if they were emerging from some magical garden…

However it wouldn’t have been Saab without the presence of mile high splits, sheer frontals and cheeky derrières. Couldn’t help himself. The colour palate mirrored this with rose pinks, creams, soft olives and nudes dominating and contrasting a series of utterly striking red and black pieces that peppered the runway.

A thoroughly sophisticated affair, guests were top to toe in designer outfits, gushing and swooning over how sexy and cool the collection was. Australians were represented amongst the glitz and glamour too… I spotted a pair of UGG boots and Holly Valance in attendance. Although, sadly not together.

Here at Bespoke HQ, we're loving Mr Saab's extension of his usual intricate details to louder cuts, colours and assorted shiny and ruffly embellishments. It's all about volume. We wish had a ball to attend... any excuse for Elie Saab.

Like I said, we were beyond excited to come to work for 3 reason today:

1. air conditioning
2. delirium caused by lack of sleep thanks to this god forsaken heat wave
3. new Low Luv from Miijo.com FINALLY arriving at bespoke HQ!!
